My advocacy journey started at the Chronic Care Center in Lebanon, where I first began supporting children and adolescents living with Type 1 Diabetes. What started as a personal mission to raise awareness soon turned into a passion for education, empowerment, and community engagement.

In 2023, I joined the International Diabetes Federation’s Young Leaders in Diabetes (YLD) programme, representing Lebanon among global advocates working to improve the lives of people with diabetes. Through this role, I’ve collaborated with inspiring individuals worldwide, shared my experiences at international congresses, and developed initiatives that aim to reshape how society understands and supports diabetes.

Each project, workshop, and conversation reminds me why I started: to ensure that no one growing up with Type 1 Diabetes ever feels alone, misunderstood, or limited. This mission aligns with the goals of the International Diabetes Federation and the resources available at the Chronic Care Center, where we provide diabetes support to those in need. This journey is still evolving, and teeoneedee is where I share every step of it.
